WHAT IS IT?
The Chase Kit is composed of three (3) vital yet easy to use parts. The
Pursuit Package gets you on the scene; the Action Package gives what you
need at the scene; the Instant Response Package gets your news story to
the right news outlet instantly.
Pursuit
The Pursuit Package includes Laminated NEWS REPORTER accreditation cards
to be used with your Press Passport, Press Badge, and Press Wallet I.D. In addition, you get the "Pursuit Guide"
that tells you how to "schedule" spontaneous breaking news by
knowing the tricks of being at the right place at the right time! It also
has instructions on how to document, gather, record and distribute breaking
news stories. You will learn how to work with law enforcement, firefighters
and emergency medical teams.
Action
The Action Package contains all the Quick Action Forms needed to collect
and record the data at the scene that gives your photos cash value for
insurance companies, lawyers, victims, witnesses, police, fire, rescue,
government agencies such as FAA, FEMA, military, Weather Service and more!
Instant Response
The Instant Response or "The Deadline Package" puts everything
you need at your fingertips to get your photos and all related data to
news gathering services before deadline.
WHO CAN GET IT
The Chase Kit was specifically designed for IFPO Press members who currently
hold the American Image IFPO Press Credentials
(pages 10 and 11). The Chase Kit assumes that you are in possession of one
or both of these credential sets.
DO YOU QUALIFY?
If you are an IFPO member and are a holder of the IFPO
Press Credentials or both, YOU QUALIFY and may order the CHASE KIT.
If you are an IFPO member, but not yet a member of the press program,
TO QUALIFY you must order one of the press programs
on page 6 or 7 before or at the same time you order the CHASE KIT.
If you are not an IFPO member, TO QUALIFY you must join IFPO (page
17) and order any one of the press programs on
page 20 or 21 before or at the same time you order your CHASE KIT.
